In addition to SSOs (Single Sign Ons) like Clever and ClassLink, ST Math can be set up to allow accounts to be created through OneRoster csv files uploads with a SAML set up so students SSO into their accounts. SAML is one way to implement SSO. SSO allows a user to log in once and access multiple services and apps.
Because there are multiple ways this can be implemented, the Regional Implementation Manager will work with a District's database administrator/rostering contact to identify the SAML provider (Google, Azure, AD-FS, Schoology). Once this is established, directions for setup on the district end will be shared.
Because using a SAML SSO is both a processing student files and the district and ST Math setting up the SSO, it often takes several weeks to gather all of the information for setup and to test files once submitted as well as the logins throug the district's sso. Once the process is complete, students will sign into ST Math through their district's designated sso link. Users would select the ST Math icon and be taken directly to their ST Math account with no additional login needed.
Please contact your Regional Implementation Manager for more information about SAML and if it will work for your district.
