At times you may run into issues with uploading the student file for CSR.
Common issues that keep files from being uploaded:
- You cannot upload more than 5,500 students in Console Student Rostering. If you surpass that number of students in your file, you will get an error message.
- Passwords must have at least six characters or meet your district's guidelines (whichever is longer) and should be unique to meet security guidelines. If passwords are less than six characters, you will get an error message.
- Files must be uploaded as .csv files. Excel or google docs cannot be used to upload students.
- No changes can be made to the headers in the template in order to upload successfully. If not, you will get an error message.
- No changes can be made to the order or names of columns in the template or you will get an error message.
- Missing data in the file will result in an error message - all file information is required.
- Duplicate IDs or usernames will result in an error message.
