Puzzles are only collected when a student successfully completes a level. When a student runs out of JiJis, they are taken back to the beginning of the level without collecting puzzles.
No matter how many times a student plays through a level, they will only collect its puzzles once. This means a student playing games in their History or earlier on the learner bridge won't collect any puzzles, nor will students who have already completed their grade level.
To see if a student has completed their grade level, you can click on the student's name in your class and click 'Objectives' to see if there are any ‘Not Yet Started’ objectives. You can also look at their usage report and scroll down to the If they have completed the grade level and have looped back around, it will say “Replay” in purple under their work for the day.
You can also check the Standards Report to see all of the students in your class who have completed their grade level.
If students have finished their journey, see this article for suggestions: What should I do for students who finish their journey before the end of the school year?
If a student has not finished their grade level but is replaying games, you may want to remind the student to click on the Journey Map or the Assignments House and be sure to click on orange levels to move forward in ST Math. Clicking a level with a green checkmark will not earn new puzzles.
