Ready to let ST Math know that your new year rosters are ready or thinking about changing to a different roster type? Here's what you need to know:
How do we let ST Math know that new data is ready at the beginning of a new school year?
In order to get new classes, teachers, and students added for a new school year, districts must let ST Math know that they have that data available and are ready for it to be processed. District Rostering Contacts or other district admin can let ST Math know that the district's rostering data for the new school year is available and the district is ready to be rolled over to the new school year by signing into their account and clicking on the "Notify Us" button at the top of the main page.

Interested in changing how you provision accounts?
Districts that are interested in changing roster types (or how accounts are created in ST Math) should notify the Implementation Team at transition_request@mindresearch.org. Typical transitions begin two weeks prior to school start date with a meeting in the spring/early summer to discuss advantages and tradeoffs from the various roster types to the new roster type selected.
While we can start the process at any time, we strongly recommend transitioning roster types right before school begins because students will lose access to ST Math during the transition.
Transitioning after students have begun using ST Math and have progress is not recommended because they can lose progress made during this school year. Because each situation is a bit different, we recommend that you speak to an Implementation Manager to see whether transitioning roster types after the school year has started or waiting until before the upcoming school year is best for your students. They can also help with suggestions for what roster type to move to if want to explore your options.
When rostering changes, students receive new accounts and their old logins no longer work. Generally speaking, historical data stays with the student account because ST Math is able to match accounts by IDs from the old and new roster files. When moving from picture password logins to a different roster type, however, students will lose historical data because there are no IDs associated with their accounts to match in the new roster type. While a meeting is not always necessary, there is information that must be collected prior to starting the transition.
