Administrators can manually create and manage staff accounts from the school or district settings page under the Staff tab regardless of roster type. For districts using CSR (console student rostering), all admin and teacher accounts will be added manually. Districts that use Clever or ClassLink should add teachers and admin through those platforms to enable sso sign in, but can add staff manually to enable access for staff due to district restrictions to data or for those not included in their SIS. See the article Auto-Rostered vs. Manual Accounts for more information about how to tell if your district using rostering to create accounts.
District Super Administrators can create and manage both school and district admins accounts as well as teacher accounts. School Super Administrators can create and manage other school administrators and teachers. To view a list of all access levels visit: What are the different access levels for staff accounts?
Accounts created manually will access ST Math at play.stmath.com.
Please Note: Clever/ClassLink administrators can create Admin accounts by adding users through the rostering process or by manually creating them. Manually created accounts cannot sign in through Clever/ClassLink because they were not added through Clever/ClassLink and will need to sign in at play.stmath.com.
To create new accounts, click the Add button. and select the desired Role. You may type or paste one or more emails and click the Add button underneath to send them an email invitation. Once done, click Close.
Administrators can be added at the district or school level. If you are a district administrator, select the school you want to add school admin or teacher accounts to before going to 'Settings' > 'Staff'. Current users and active invites are listed by access level.
Users will need to click on the Access ST Math link in the email they receive to activate and create their ST Math password. If the user had a previous ST Math account, they will need to click on the link and use the Forgot Password feature from that link in order to activate their account.
