Journey Progress shows the percentage of a specific grade-level curriculum a student has completed. This is a great way to see who has finished their grade’s curriculum.
Students only earn Journey Progress for playing content in their current grade-level Journey. They will not earn Journey Progress for Assignments from other grades or Bonus Objectives. The Journey Grade column shown below will show which grade is being measured.
Journey Progress is calculated by taking “the total number of levels completed this term in the currently assigned journey” divided by “the total number of levels in the currently assigned journey.” The number will appear as a percentage and will not go over 100%. When students have completed their assigned journey, a checkmark will replace the percentage.
Changing a student's grade will change their Journey Progress to reflect the content played in the new grade. For example, moving a student up to a new grade level they have not yet played this school year will change their Journey Progress to 0%.
Journey Progress is visible to educators by clicking into the class, and viewing the Journey Progress column. Don't see the Journey Progress Column? You may need to rearrange your columns.
Students can view their Journey Progress by clicking on their initials in the top left of their screen and selecting Progress.
Most content on the Journey will earn students Journey Progress. Intro to ST Math and Bonus Objectives won't earn Journey Progress. Assignments from the student's assigned grade will earn Journey Progress. Other Assignments will not.
