We are excited to get ST Math rosters set up through GG4L secure sync. Because our GG4L integration is in beta, all applications have unique requirements, so please review the guidelines below.
GG4L is a roster provisioning and student dashboard system much like ClassLink or Clever.
Districts can connect their student information system to GG4L or upload data via csv files. GG4L shares that data with ST Math through an API.
The data shared through GG4L should meet IMS Global standards for the OneRoster specs.
The district will receive assistance from Customer Care at GG4L to set up their data properly, including filtering.
After sharing is set up by the district, the Regional Implementation Manager will complete the setup for access in ST Math. After data is processed by our Engineering team, educators shared through GG4L will receive an email letting them know that an account has been created and classes will be created and populated based on the data received.
Recommendations for Sharing Students, Teachers, and Administrators:
District administrators, school administrators, teachers, and student accounts will be provisioned through GG4L if shared through the files shared with GG4L. This should include any staff that will use or monitor the program (Principals, Assistant Principals, Instructional Coaches, Resource Specialists etc.). Special Education teachers can be shared as school admins if not shared as co-teachers for specific classes. Teachers with students/classes must be added through GG4L and will login with their SSO login. Admin accounts not shared through GG4L can be created by an existing district admin user at play.stmath.com. For directions on how to create admin accounts, click here.
Note: Admin users created in ST Math and not shared through GG4L will access ST Math by signing in at play.stmath.com since they are not being shared through GG4L.
Recommendations for Sharing Classes/Sections:
Signing Into ST Math
Districts have the option to sso into ST Math via GG4L. The link to sso is here.
To sign in, users would search for their district and then enter their username and password.
Students, teachers, and admin users shared through GG4L will sign in through the sso link with their SSO login. Teachers and admin may also sign in through play.stmath.com.
More information can be found by accessing the GG4L QuickStart Guide.
