Staff accounts can be managed in two ways in ST Math.
Auto-Rostered accounts are managed automatically added and removed based on instructions from the district rostering system. ST Math looks for new data every night, so it can take up to 24 hours for those changes to occur.
Manually created accounts are created in ST Math directly. Accounts created this way have to sign in to ST Math directly at play.stmath.com. Single-Sign-On systems (such as Clever or ClassLink) will not recognize manually created accounts.
Manually created accounts are great for staff who may not appear in your Student Information System for any reason, like long-term substitute teachers.
Staff accounts can be switched between the two at any time. If the account was manually created, but now needs to be managed automatically by your district rostering system, or vice versa, it can be updated by clicking on the gear icon to the right of the staff email.
Then select and click on the Managed dropdown menu to change on the account is managed.
