We have moved to minutes and puzzles instead of percent progress in the new ST Math for some really important reasons.
Teachers now have the ability to assign additional content from other grade levels to individual students or snooze objectives that they want students to skip. This new flexibility makes defining 100% progress very difficult and less meaningful.
Instead, you can now track a student’s weekly puzzles or how long they've played from the your report and students can see this on their screen as well. The suggested weekly goals are at the bottom of your screen when you're logged in to ST Math. You can also click on a student in your report to see their total puzzles this year. Students can see this number by clicking on the history button behind JiJi when they log in.
New data trackers and recording sheets are available to support your work with students and more are coming. Ideas for celebrating goals can be found here in ST Math Help as well as in the Professional Learning Academy.
