Teachers can assign specific objectives to their class (and individual students) from any grade level for the school to their class. Administrators can also assign Objectives but by going to the Objective they wish to assign and using the orange Actions menu.
Students will have access to their assigned grade level objectives in the Journey, and teachers can make additional Assignments as a way to supplement the journey with content from other grade levels or to surface content that teachers want students to work on right now. If assignments are provided to students, teachers will need to guide students on when to play the Journey versus Assignments content or update their journey access.
After signing into your ST Math account, click on Curriculum at the top of the screen. From the Curriculum dropdown menu, choose All Learning Objectives.
A list of grade levels will appear along with the number of Objectives available for each grade level. Choose the applicable grade level, and click on the blue arrow across from the grade level to view a list of objectives.
Click on the objective you would like to assign to view details about the objective. You may also view the objective’s corresponding student games from this screen by clicking on the Games tab. Select Assign This Objective.
Select the class or individual students you would like to assign the objective and click Assign.
Once assigned, the next time the student(s) assigned the objective log in, they have the option to play their journey as normal but also have the option to switch to assignments using the icons on the left.
- Students cannot replay a completed objective.
- At this time, only district administrators can reorder the journey. Visit How Can I Reorder the Curriculum for my district for more information.
