ST Math is a visual, instructional, and supplemental math program, but we know that a key part of deep learning is “academic discourse,” or the ability to talk about and share what you have learned and how you arrived at your solution.
This new ST Math Chats feature provides an easy way for teachers to foster academic discourse in the classroom by building discussion on top of existing ST Math puzzles.
Each Math Chat concludes with a challenging problem that allows students to apply what they've learned and discussed during the lesson in a new situation/format.
