ST Math Special Projects include a JiJi Choice Board, rubrics, Storyboards and resource pages. All these resources were designed in collaboration with teachers and students to support students critical and creative thinking, build agency, and foster mathematical understanding. They are great to use with early finishers, as well as students who get 100% on the pre-quiz and need an extra challenge as they play ST Math.
These projects allow students to go deeper into the mathematics of the puzzles. Students will select a game to play. They will create a product that highlights their understanding and helps others learn the concepts in the games. These projects require students to think about their thinking at a deeper level thus giving them a better understanding of the concept.
ST Math Special Projects provide the following benefits:
